Our healthcare providers and staff take COVID – 19 seriously and want to inform you of our policy and precautions as recommended by the CDC and WHO.
Our dermatology providers offer Teledermatology to care for new or existing patients remotely—via a phone or video call.
Please know that our offices remain open. Given the nature of our specialty, there are times when it is necessary to have an in person visit or a procedure performed. Our providers are scheduling and working with essential staff only to minimize your contact with other patients and staff. We also offer special clinic times for patients over the age of sixty.
All employees are required to use hand sanitizer, to frequently wash their hands with soap and warm water, to avoid touching their faces and to use protective equipment when necessary. Employees with cold-like symptoms are asked to not come in or are sent home and asked to follow up with their primary care doctors. During this outbreak, we will respectfully refrain from handshaking.
We ask that only healthy patients visit our office and are screening as part of our pre-operative process and on arrival. If you’ve recently traveled throughout or outside the US, we ask that you please call our office to reschedule your appointment.
Patients experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms are advised to consult with their primary care doctors first and to reschedule their appointment for after they have recovered.
We also ask that patients limit guests. Only the patient should come into the office unless the patient is a minor or in need of caregiver assistance.
We are also taking measures to provide extra cleaning and extensive disinfecting throughout the offices including exam rooms, check-in, waiting room chairs, doorknobs, bathrooms, etc.
Patients are encouraged to call the office and we will address any questions specific to their medical situation. The healthcare providers and employees thank you for maintaining good hygiene and for helping to minimize the spread of COVID-19.
